The Trangia Westwind stove is one of the most user friendly alcohol burners on the market. It's simple, light weight and
rugged. Besides having a track record of reliable service that spans decades (now thats reliability!), it also has a couple of uniquely useful features.
The simmer ring allows the burner to adjust from full to simmer and extinguishes the flame when closed completely.
The twist on cap with o-ring seals the burner so you don't have to empty unused fuel between uses and prevents
evaporation - less fuel wasted means less fuel you have to carry. Includes everything you see here; stand, burner,
simmer ring, and cap w/ o-ring.
The stand is made of lightweight, yet rugged aluminum. It folds up to just 6.7 x 3.9 x 0.3 inches (170 X 99 X 7.6 mm)
Approximately 1.5 ounces (5 cl) of alcohol will boil 1 liter of water in approximately 15 minutes.
